In recent years, as ships rely on fuel to generate electricity while berthing at port terminals, alarge amount of harmful gases are produced, causing great damage to the port and surrounding environment. For port emission control, effective ways include the use of lowsulfur oil or LNG, exhaust gas treatment devices, and ship shore power. As a means of gasemission control, ship shore power is easy to operate and noiseless. In recent years, the port environment pollution problem is serious. The main source of pollution is the exhaust gas emissions generated by starting auxiliary generators to power shipboard equipment when ships are docked. As the ECA control area policy becomes more and more stringent, the high-voltage shore power system (AMP) is an effective means to solve the emission problem of ships docking. All units can be shut down to achieve zero emissions when docking. The purpose of the high-voltage shore power system is to shut down the generators and boilers on the ship and provide power transmission to the ship through the high-voltage shore power system at the port, thereby effectively reducing the exhaust gas emissions and noise of ships docking. Development of ship shore power

High-voltage shore power system is a new clean energy method in recent years. With thedevelopment of the times, policies and regulations have become increasingly strict in controllingpollution emissions when ships are at port. The United States and Europe and other places have put forward requirements to encourage or force ships to use shore power when they are at port. Forexample, California, the United States requires that 80% of ships use shore power by January 1, 2020.The "Implementation Plan for the Special Action for the Prevention and Control of Ship and PortPollution (2015-2020)" issued by the Ministry of Transport of my country also clearly stated that "by2020, the sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides and particulate matter of ships in the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Bohai Rim (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei) waters will be reduced by 65%, 20% and 30%respectively compared with 2015; 90% of port ships and official ships in major ports will use shorepower when berthing, and 50% of container, passenger and cruise ship specialized terminals will have the ability to supply shore power to ships." The Ministry of Transport, Shenzhen, Jiangsu, Shanghai andother governments have formulated corresponding subsidy policies for the use of shore power toencourage and support the use of shore power.

The high-voltage shore power system is divided into ship-borne devices and shore-based devices. Theship-borne device includes a cable management system, a shore power connection cabinet, a shorepower transformer and a shore power access panel. Compared with low-voltage shore power, highvoltage shore power has the advantages of high power, convenient connection, and seamlessswitching. It is mainly used in large ships such as container ships, ro-ro passenger ships, cruise ships, and special ships.

1. Vigorously promote the use ofshore power by ships at berthImplement the construction tasks of the Port Power Layout Plan, accelerate the construction of port port power and shippower receiving facilities, study the policy of supporting and promoting the application of shore power, improve standard technical specifications, promote the research and development of key technologies, and increase the utilization rate ofshore power facilities on the Yangtze River main line.

Increase support for the transformation of ship power receiving facilities, study the establishment of a priority green channel for the transformation of ship power receiving facilities, and increase the number of ships capable of receiving shore power. Cable winch
1. The winch is a supporting equipment for connecting the ship and the shore power system. The winch's overalldimensions and driving power are determined according to the ship's shore power capacity, voltage, current and selected cable parameters.
2. The winch can automatically store and release the shore-to-ship connection cable. The winch's working state can be switched by the manual/automatic knob to facilitate the crew's connection and disconnection ofshore power.
3. The winch has an automatic cable management function. During the use ofshore power, the cable reel can automatically release or store the shore-to-ship connection cable according to the ship's loading and unloading conditions and tidal changes to prevent the cable from being too tight ortoo loose.
4. The winch's cable tension can be adjusted as needed.
5. The winch has a variety ofsafety protection functions, and the cable reel can provide interlocking or alarm signals. When the cable is released excessively and the number of remaining cable turns on the winch reaches the alarm value (remaining ≤ 4 turns), a switch signal is sent to trigger the shore power management system to issue an audible and visual alarm; when the number ofremaining cable turns on the winch is equal to the set trip protection value (remaining ≤ 2 turns), a switch signal is sent to trigger the shore power management system to issue a higher decibel audible and visual alarm, and at the same time disconnect the ship side safety circuit, and emergency cut offthe shore power supply circuit breaker to avoid disasters.
6. The winch has a torque limiting function, and the inverter control can ensure that the cable can be pulled out smoothly, rather than being stuck on the drum and causing a cable pull-off accident.
