Advantages and disadvantages of heavy oil engine:

They also have a long service life, while diesel engines generally need overhaul after about 6,000 hours.

* Heavy oil engines have low fuel consumption, but their one-time investment is large.
* Heavy oil engines have strong load-carrying capacity and can operate safely and reliably at 90% load for a long time, but heavy oil engines have high requirements for operators and equipment management.
* Heavy oil engines have stable, reliable and continuous operation, and can make full use of exhaust gas for cooling and heating. If the unit has large power, multiple waste heat can generate steam that can be used to generate electricity with steam turbine units, generating considerable economic benefits.
